The Dovecote is a beautifully renovated property set in a peaceful, rural location. The interior is completed to a high standard, with a comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. The woodburner adds a cozy touch, perfect for those chilly nights. The surrounding views are simply stunning, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The property is also well-equipped, with staple food items in the fridge and plenty of information about the local area.
One small downside is that the Wi-Fi occasionally went down during our stay.

We had an amazing stay at The Dovecote! The value for money was outstanding, and the room itself was absolutely lovely. The attention to detail was impeccable, and the cozy wood burner made it even more special. The location was peaceful and quiet, yet conveniently close to Saffron Walden and Cambridge. The staff, especially Mel, were fantastic and provided us with great local tips.
Hotel breakfast could have been improved by adding a wider variety of options.

We had the best time with our crew. We went hiking in the nearby countryside and it was such a sick experience. The views were fire! Later, we hit up the local village pub for drinks and it was epic. The barn was cozy and had everything we needed. It was the perfect base camp for our wild adventures!
The only thing we wish was better for our party-loving squad was a banging sound system. It would have been sick to blast our favorite tunes and have our own little party in the barn.

Loved enjoying the stunning hikes nearby. The free parking was a bonus, although I didn't need it because I arrived by private jet. The in-house restaurant was a nice touch, even though I ended up dining elsewhere every night.
Could've used a private helicopter pad, but I guess I'll settle for the private parking.

We had an awesome romantic escape in the countryside. The property was excellently renovated and beautifully decorated. The woodburner added a cozy touch to our stay, especially with the snowy weather outside. The bathroom was lovely and the bedroom was comfortable. We enjoyed walks in the countryside and drinks at the local village pub. It was truly a blissful getaway!
Nothing not to like!
